About Me

Scotia McClung, Ph.D., LMFT received her Bachelors in Psychology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. She then went on to earn her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. And ultimately she earned her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX in 2006. Scotia currently holds an associates License in Marriage and Family Therapy. 

Upon graduation she took time off to be a stay at home mom. She has homeschooled her three daughters for the past 8 years. She also received her Health Coaching Certificate 2019 to provide more holistic services.

Scotia’s favorite things to do are read and learn about health and wellness. She loves spending time with her family, which includes a dog (Koa) and two cats (Max and Lacy). She enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and neighbors, and loves being a small group leader for a group of Sr. High girls at her church. Scotia is passionate about essential oils, kombucha and a hot cup of tea!
